Awesome anvil of this supercell streamed way off to the north east. Between Freer and Laredo in southern Texas.
Looking SE towards a tennis-ball hail producing, tornado warned supercell near Freer, Texas. Same supercell but from a distance after we got banged up by some hail and had to retreat west towards Laredo. Awesome anvil of this supercell streamed way off to the north east. Between Freer and Laredo in southern Texas. Just on dark, we started to see CG's pop out of the back of the supercell as it moved off to the SE of Laredo, Tx.
Another cell developed right over Laredo, Tx when we were only a few miles away and we were lucky to get some awesome lightning. These photos were taken at 17mm and haven't been cropped. It was fairly close...hehe.
