Debris from Stanley Park had to be laid parallel to the road. At times, 3 or 4 trees laid side by side Significant tree damage in Stanley Park - notice how none of the trees have tops Snapped! 5ft above the ground...and its not alone - there are 2 more in the background For 40 years prior to the big storm, no one was able to see the ocean or West Vancouver through here

People started counting how long some of these trees had been there...this one was 113 years The seawall promenade is very popular with locals and tourists...its not hard to see why Rocky platforms jut out into the Pacific Ocean on the western side of Stanley Park The picturesque seawall promenade
