A deep cold pool moved over central Victoria this day/night. Chris G and I chased from Melbourne to the area north of Geelong and got sleet near Meridith (400m ASL) before catching HUGE flakes of snow at Mt Buninyong near Ballart (700m ASL). We then traversed Melbourne and headed to the lower parts of Mt Donna Buang where there was about 5-7cm of snow settled at 500m ASL.
