2005 Dec 8th

On this day a nasty squall line developed on the Darling Downs and raced across the ranges and through Brisbane. At times, the line was moving at over 80km/h and wind gusts of up to 130km/h were estimated from this line. I was stuck at work for most of the day but managed to escape just before it hit and I snapped these photos from near Bowen Hills, looking S towards the city.
