2005 Oct 15th

On my way north (moving to Brisbane from Melbourne), I snapped this low-shear storm sitting on the ranges west of Sydney.

2005 Nov 10th

I headed out again after work this day to intercept a line of lightning active storms coming in off the ranges to the west of Brisbane. These storms died as they moved off the ranges but I managed to catch this last CG before they weakened into rain.

2005 Nov 30th

Cloud hampered storm development on this day in the Darling Downs. Several supercells were observed in the Northern Rivers district of NSW, however, only weak multicells occurred on the Downs.

2006 Mar 10th

This photo of a small funnel cloud was taken near Noosa on 10th March as I was about to set off on a 2-day canoeing trip. Conditions were not overly condusive for waterspouts/funnels, however a surprise like this is never unwelcome.

2006 May 7th

I spent the weekend visiting family in Melbourne and saw this suspiciously structured coldie NE of Geelong late on Sunday 7th May. Photos taken with camera phone.
