2006 Nov 8th

Strong instability and adequate shear saw supercells develop across various parts of South East QLD, NE NSW and Central QLD. I chased a supercell near Esk and got BELTED by gorilla hail. The bigger hail is on page 2 of the gallery.

2006 Nov 26th

A hot, dry day saw some ok storms go up in the Boonah - Beaudesert corridor. I drove down there for a look.

2006 Nov 27th

Some IMPRESSIVE storms came up from the Northern Tablelands into the Granite Belt of SEQ so I headed down there after work and got a few lightning pics.

2006 Nov 28th

A chase with my good friend James Harris from Sydney. We spent the entire day waiting in Grafton for the cap to break (which it didn't) but that evening we were treated to one of the best lightning shows seen in NE NSW.

And to keep the run of 4 storm days in a row going, some high based storms developed around Brisbane, in amongst smoke and dust haze making for some lovely photography. A nice lightning show on sunset toppoed this one off.
