After 700mm fell in 24hrs at Rainbow Beach and other falls in excess of 400mm in the same period (in August - our driest month), I just had to check it out. Photos from various places around the Sunshine Coast.

A few very isolated storms developed over SEQ this day. I intercepted one near Fernvale and got some small (2-3cm hail) and then watched another beautiful storm SE of Beaudesert later in the day.

Also on the trip to Darwin we played around with giant Barramundi at Howard Springs before heading out to Gunn Point where a storm developed late in the day. We finished the day with a beautiful sunset at Fogg Dam.
