After driving up from southern Oklahoma, we were treated to a BEAST of a supercell which had inflow winds of 70mph (110km/h) which snapped power poles and unroofed houses.

Our first stop. Inflow at this stage was around 40mph gusting to 50mph. Rotation was strong at this stage. South east of Scott City, Kansas.

As we raced south and east, strong rotation developed nearly overhead (the video is awesome). A small funnel developed not too far from us - this photo is as it was dissipating.
