We stopped about 3mi north of Dighton with the tornado heading right towards us. It was intermittently skipping along with tendrils of condensation touching down, ripping up trees, powerlines and roofs. Large hail was scattered across the ground and was

Another view of the hail-covered ground and the bottom of the wall cloud which was still exhibiting strong rotation and was tornadoing briefly on and off. By this stage, it was less than 1mi away from us.

As this wall cloud dissipated, we had to move north and east and as we turned east, a new wall cloud developed overhead and was rotating rapidly! It put down a brief tornado JUST to our north east - it was no more than 1/2 mile away!! This photo is the

We went further east looking for another north road option and found a crappy road which we eventually gave up on. Whilst we waited, we saw the wall cloud occlude and it was rotating rapidly!

An elongated elephant trunk tornado developed about 6-7mi away from us (probably would've been a good view if we'd gone N of Dighton instead of east and then north).

We watched this tornado for nearly 10 minutes!

It kicked up some solid debris as it drilled into the ground!

It was quite a nice scene from where we were with the pink hue on the sky to the west and then a tornado ripping up the land in the foreground.

It was probably at its most intense here with a solid debris cloud at the base!
