Chase Season 04/05

The 04/05 storm season was quite short for me as I left Australia in early November 2004 for Canada where I spent 5 months working in a ski resort and then 5 weeks chasing in the USA (refer to the USA 2005 gallery). This gallery contains a few snow chases, including the spectacular Gippsland snow event of 10th August 2005 where it snowed down to sea level.

A chase of many high's and lows into southern NSW. Awesome sky to start the day, then nothing for hours, then storms to our N but too far, then an awesome gustnado VERY close to us, then an AWESOME sunset followed by a great lightning show.

After staying in southern NSW overnight from the previous chase, we headed slowly back S thinking the day was a write-off, only to intercept a great storm just south of Albury (in Vic).
